CASUAL COMMUTER The Kentfield ST2 is the step-through version of our top-tier Kentfield. Designed to be affordable, comfortable and reliable it’ll go the distance, every day of the week. Our Series 1 aluminum frame is lightweight and responsive, and comes decked out with plenty of rack and fender mounts to suit your setup. There’s a microSHIFT 10-Speed drivetrain, Vee Tire tires, Clark’s mechanical disc brakes and plenty of reliable Marin components. Why choose a step-through bicycle frame? Traditionally designed for female riders wearing skirts, the step-through has evolved to suit anyone that prefers a frame that’s far easier to swing a leg over. They’re ideal for less flexible riders, slow-speed urban cycling and riders that need to load their bike up with bags or kids. SERIES 1 ALUMINUM FRAME - The Kentfield features a Series 1 6061 aluminum frame with disc brake mounts and rack and fender eyelets and fast rolling, multi-surface capable 700c wheels with either a standard horizontal top tube or a step-thru frame design. CRMO BMX INSPIRED FORK - The stylish CrMo BMX style fork has straight blades, disc mounts, and BMX inspired dropouts. HYBRID GEOMETRY - The Kentfield features upright seated hybrid geometry that mixes the upright position of a mountain bike with the efficiency of a pavement bike. WIDE-RANGE GEARING - Wide-range, 1x gearing is simple to use and offers as large if not larger of a gear range than multi-chainring bikes of the past.

KEY PERFORMANCE FACTORS Dirt-Road Ready A suspension fork offers more comfort and control when you leave the pavement for gravel and trails. Stability and Control Responsive, reliable disc brakes help you keep your speed in check, even in wet weather. Useful Integrated mounts let you attach a rear cargo rack, and the low standover height makes getting on and off less a hassle when you’re running errands by bike.

And because life is never a straight A-to-B, we’ve made it tough enough and customizable enough to deal with whatever the journey throws at you. Every Presidio comes with fast-rolling and puncture-resistant tires, comfortable geometry, hydraulic discs and plenty of mounting options for bags and racks. The Presidio will take care of business day in and day out. Our entry-level and most affordable model, the Marin Presidio 1 is built around a Series 1 aluminum frame and CrMo straight blade fork with 700C wheels, a Shimano 8-speed drivetrain and powerful Clark’s hydraulic disc brakes. LIGHTWEIGHT ALUMINUM FRAMES - Presidio frames are constructed of lightweight 6061 aluminum tubing with rack and fender mounts. Series 2 tubing on the Presidio 3 and 2 models add internal cable routing, and belt drive compatible forged slider dropouts for internally geared hubs. MARIN SLIDER DROPOUTS - Our new slider dropouts were created specifically to bring the best technologies for commute bikes into a clean and tidy package. The dropouts slide to tension belts and chains, while incorporating flat mount disc brakes, and a direct mount rear kickstand to support the bike where weight is centered with gear. DISC BRAKES - Hydraulic disc brakes provide smooth, controlled stopping in all conditions with minimal maintenance. INTERNALLY GEARED HUBS - Internally geared hubs on the Presidio 3 and 2 package the gearing into a compact, maintenance-free package.
